Your wonderful video reminds me of the story “Acres of Diamonds” and the story in “Think and Grow Rich” about the gold miners who abandoned their mine just before hitting one of the richest veins ever discovered!
Each of us has the ability and raw talent needed to succeed in any area of life in which we are passionate. . . no question about it.
Unfortunately, most people fail (or refuse) to look at the ground beneath their feet (their innate talent and passions), and realize that all the wealth they could ever hope to possess simply needs to be unearthed (developed) and put to work helping others achieve their goals and dreams.
Love what Scott said about people “chanting in their underwear.” Phooey!
Anyone wishing to truly understand the level and depth that one has to commit oneself to regarding the development of their abilities and, in turn, creating wealth, simply needs to pay attention to the teachings of masters like Wallace Wattles (author of “The Science of Getting Rich” and Napoleon Hill (author of “Think and Grow Rich” AND OF COURSE, JONATHAN BUDD.
However, they need to be aware of this one fact. . .Wattles said the process is a science (Science – Definition 5: Art, skill, or expertness, regarded as the result of knowledge of laws and principles), and Hill didn’t name his book “Read and Grow Rich.”
In other words, we MUST think (which implies action), and then put the knowledge we’ve acquired to work — ACTION.
The truly beautiful thing about it is, as you said in your video, there are “knowable things” that anyone wanting to increase their value to the universe can do to make it so (you listed numerous skills you have developed, and continue to work on mastering).
Tony Robbins said, “Success leaves clues.” As an example anyone wanting what Jonathan Budd has, simply needs to study you (and others like you) and do what you have done and continue doing.
And just like that little seed germ, all one needs do is continue putting out roots (developing innate skills), and keep pushing toward the surface. As long as we persist, we will break through. . .just like the plant. . .its how we were designed!
Thanks for spending so much of your time helping all of us on our path of development. It is a real pleasure being associated with you, and developing skills within the systems you have developed to help thirsty seeds develop into Redwoods on the Internet!

Too many people sitting around chanting in their underwear (not that there’s anything wrong with chanting in your underwear, just sayin’), and visualizing money dropping into their laps while they’re being booted out to the streets.
It’s not any more difficult than adding value, being of service, and showing people a better way and sharing your wisdom that you’ve garnered over your experiences.
Everyone is valuable and has something great to offer, it just takes ACTION and some WORK (Yes the ‘W” word)

so this is in a way just adding my thought about the video.
I must admit that I share my opinion about topic with you.
Having experience in training and leading for many years I keep in my mind always ! that people simply NEED those reminders, those pushes. Often they are discouraged by not seeing results of their efforts soon, not realizing they have to simply “keep going” in 2 major areas. Learning and applying.
My goal right now is not to make analysis of your surely valuable video, just make a note and offer something of mine as a suitable addition.
At first, regardless that English is my second language, I would like to differ in one area of expression. Your use of talent in connection with content in this video.
Talent is something “extra”, something rare that few people were born with. It certainly must be developed and nurtured, but without is there is not reaching The Top in anything. You mentioned some top achievers, let say at sport. There are thousands putting same effort, same time, same sweat and never ever achieve that “top”. That’s because they are lacking inborn talent. So I wouldn’t call it talent in area of making money as you suggest in our video.. It is developing the SKILL (s). Anyone with just determination and discipline can develop superior skill and reach the goals you are promising to them. It is possible, it is doable. But it would not be talent.
Talent is always somewhere higher, it is being recognized easily and it stands out. Like 2 pianists, for example, both can play 10 hours a day for 10 years under tutoring of master and when they perform in public, the difference of talent or just of skill shall be clear immediately.
So, this is not critique, Jonathan, just my point.
As my contribution I wish to offer my “blog” I wrote sometime ago for network marketers, which has been accepted very favorably. Reason for bringing it now has lot to do with achievement. you are promising that is unachievable without one major addition to your mix of suggestions. Discipline. That mixed in should guarantee success…. surely at different times for different person, but success!

one addition to this, a key matter not so commonly considered – a potential trap when taking advice from any gurus providing direction on how to develop value & skills – there’s usually a presumption about exactly what skills & value needs to be developed. the problem is not all people are suited to travel a certain path; trying to develop their weaknesses to get up to par with those for who they’re natural strengths may spend years trying to achieve a position they never will be able to – YET, if they refocused on what personal value they already possess, which could be even greater developed & presented, collaborating with other team members who might have the complimentary marketing skills – they could achieve new levels of success and defining their own greatness, rather than trying to live up to someone else’s standards.
success in network marketing will not come as a matter of mastering lead generation & technical marketing skills alone; some people might do much better with offline approaches; there may be ALOT more power in having a team of 5 people and building from there, rather than scattering ourselves thin trying to learn absolutely everything about how the superstars have achieved their success. If we can develop our own greatness & bring out our own value, that’s when things will really start to happen. Though, that value doesn’t lie in what everyone else is doing, but contributing to the world what only we can. If we’re learning the exact same skills as thousands of other people, even when we do get to the common standard – what’s the value? Alternatively, if we focus on clarifying & sharing what unique insights, knowledge, experience, lessons, etc we have to bring to the table – it may not click with the masses looking for quick-riches automated formulas, but will inevitably attract those on the same vibe with whom we can achieve truly great things with – then collaborating on ideas & ventures which each of our unique strengths, perspectives, & knowledge create a synergistic mastermind…

Excellent message. When I was searching for answers and ways of becoming financially independent, my mentor told me to always remember that money is a BY-PRODUCT.
And he continued with a statement that I to this day know by heart for it never failed me once:
“Financial independence: Is the ability to make the decision on your highest priority without consideration for money.
Your economic security does not lie in your job; it lies in your own power to produce – to think, to learn, to create, to adapt. That’s true financial independence. It’s not having wealth; it’s power to produce wealth. It’s intrinsic.
The Universe does not compensate the people for hard work, it compensates for the level of consciousness and ability to create and produce.” Unquote.
Just like the market will respond to our level of talent, natural or developed skill, Universe will equally respond to our level of awareness.

I like how you get right to the point without all the BS.
Putting the time in and trying to focus on one thing at a time I find is the hardest part of becoming an entrepreneur for me.
I have a full time job and a family to support so its gets a little busy and I run out of time because there is only 24hrs in a day and I have to sleep for at least 4 of them.
My toughest challenge is focusing on one thing for enough time to complete it thoroughly without getting distracted with everything else there is to learn on line especially in the social media arena.
But I must say I’m learning with y our help and the help of others,and reading a few books that help me keep things in perspective.
You have definitely got your sh…t together and I appreciate your honesty. That my friend is a rare component in the online industry.
I have realized that being honest with yourself and everyone around you is what draws people towards you and opens the door for future relationships.

You are a breath of fresh air in this industry where there is so much hype. I can really connect with what you are saying in this video. I often wondered how some people in my primary opportunity signed up and within a few months were top earners. I now realize that they came into the business already with top notch skill sets. They didn’t come in like that “seed” you were talking about. They had already broken through the concrete in a previous opportunity.
Sometimes we tend to be a little too harsh on ourselves. We shouldn’t be as concerned about the other person….but continue to grow on a daily basis and hone our craft in all the necessary areas.
