A True Leader Knows When They’re Wrong & When To Say Sorry! (Plus JUICY Long Term Insights)

My friends,

Mr. Jonathan Budd here today, with a pretty different and special video to address a topic I think needs to be addressed.  And Also, to say sorry because I was wrong.  If you’re a real leader, you know when you’re wrong… and you say sorry.  So that’s what I’m doing today.

But to make up for it, I’m going to deliver some AWESOME value to everyone in the industr about the MLM LAUNCH game that is played, very often, and will continue to be played very often throughout our lives.

You see, they are FUN times, when lots of money can be made, or lots of time can be wasted.  The choice is YOURS as long as you know what really matters… and continue to stay FOCUSED on it.  The intention of this video is to touch upon that subject some more… and de mystify a lot of what happens during big MLM launches.

Here’s the training video… (and my apology)

I hope you enjoy it.  Next time I’ll take my own advice and ‘Defuse My Emotion’ before I start tweeting! haha, oh man… what characters we are sometimes.

If you feel like sharing this with your friends on Twitter, cause you think they’ll enjoy me admitting I was wrong!… then do so now:

  1. Thanks again Jonathan…way to stay grounded (for the most part). Staying in balance emotionally is a constant vigil of truly living in the “now” isn’t it? It is an extremely freeing way to live but our “learned” tendencies (perhaps natural) are always trying to creep in. Remember this principle: Light diffuses the darkness…the darkness is always ready to appear whenever the light is not shining. I am very happy to retweet this video post. Blessings my friend!

I think you are right on the money. I am tired of the hype and am listening to a number of guys like you who keep insisting that people, if they want to be successful business owners online have to focus on building their list instead of being product junkies.

Great Value. My company Motto is, “let’s make the world a little bit better today, because… we were here”. This is what you do over and over again. Thank you.

    Jonathan,

I appreciate you and your work and let me say I fully endorse the concept of building a list and your own brand. But ….

    (Isn’t there always a ‘but?’)

There is only one reason to join an MLM. Only one - reliable, long-term, leveraged, residual income.

Otherwise, we with large lists, why would we want to divide commissions with 7 or more upline people? We are far better off selling our own products or working in 1 level affiliate programs or joint ventures.

It is the possibility of reliable, long-term, leveraged, residual income that makes an MLM attractive.

That said, MOST companies simply do NOT have the business fundamentals to deliver on such a promise. For example, to think that you can achieve it with a company that offers merely an “income vehicle” with a product that can be found elsewhere for less money is foolhardy.

Companies built with weak products, weak management , flawed compensatin plans, etc., simply cannot survive long term. The majority or reps will leave as soon the buzz dies down, assuming they could create any buzz to begin with.

The good news is that there are lots of people that are not in the six months in a deal and move on crowd. They are the kind of people who ask first not whether they can make money in a particular “deal,” but whether they should promote a particular because it offers real value to all participants at every level.

To those people, I say, “Yes. Build your list, by all ethical means, but don’t be seduced by any new hi-buzz companies (and I see a number of them right now), but instead, study what the fundamentals have to be in place for a company if you with to achieve something really worthwhile - a reliable, long-term, leveraged, residual income.”

Folks, companies that can really provide that are much harder to find. But they do exist and they are more than worth it to find.

Anything less than that, sell something else!

They are the kind of people who ask first not whether they can make money in a particular “deal,” but whether they *should* promote a particular MLM, because it offers real value to all participants at every level, because it can last long term and benefit not just the “get in first” group but also everyone who comes later.

(I wrote my Special Report / Book to teach people the “12 Critical Success Factors that identify such companies.)

To those people, I say, “Yes. Build your list, by all ethical means, brand yourself, and don’t be seduced by all the new hi-buzz companies (that make you think you will make it big because you got in early (and I see a number of them right now).”

My preference would be for you to stay out of MLM altogether unless you are willing to study what fundamentals have to be in place for a company to achieve something really worthwhile - a reliable, long-term, leveraged, residual income by delivering real value. Learn to tell the difference between what’s real and what is not.

Companies that can really provide that are much harder to find. But they do exist and they are more than worth it to find. Hold out for something real, something where the truth is good enough, something that elevates people, something that stands the test of time.

Anything less than that, sell something else to your list!

    J-Boogie,
You hit it right on the dot my friend. I am just coming back into this industry from having taken a hiatus from it because I was fed up with pestering friends, family, and whoever was standing next to me in a grocery line about my “opportunity”. I was tired of being the low guy on the totem pole when some high mucky-muck got paid a bonus from another company to switch allegiances and bring his core team with him.

I was actually through with this industry until I found your training my friend. This was when I learned what Network Marketing, Social Media Mastery, and Online Lead Generation is and how to actually build a business. I also realized that my business isn’t the product that I am promoting, their amazing compensation plan, or anthing else about the company. I learned that the only business that I will ever have in this industry that I have complete conrol over is…. ME, John Chatman Inc.

People follow people, not companies. In 2-3 months the next big juice, phone plan, gel, or whatever will be out and a portion of the team will more than likely follow suit so it is important to give your team a reason to follow you. Make sure that you are building your BRAND, your VALUE. This is the way to make a living and create an incredible lifestyle in this industry.

On a personal and sincere note: Thanks for blazing the trail my friend and giving so much back. It has and will continue to make a difference in my life and the lives that I touch.

    To Our Success,

    John Chatman
