Mr. Jonathan Budd here today, with a pretty different and special video to address a topic I think needs to be addressed. And Also, to say sorry because I was wrong. If you’re a real leader, you know when you’re wrong… and you say sorry. So that’s what I’m doing today.
But to make up for it, I’m going to deliver some AWESOME value to everyone in the industr about the MLM LAUNCH game that is played, very often, and will continue to be played very often throughout our lives.
You see, they are FUN times, when lots of money can be made, or lots of time can be wasted. The choice is YOURS as long as you know what really matters… and continue to stay FOCUSED on it. The intention of this video is to touch upon that subject some more… and de mystify a lot of what happens during big MLM launches.

Again: I love it when you bring things to their ESSENCE! You took all the wrapping away presenting us the NAKED TRUTH. By fare i know not nearly a tip of the iceberg from the things you know about MLM but these basics you touched here crossed my path with the first videos i watched from you and your business partners (How lucky i am!). Great post Jonathan! I actually just put up an interesting post on my blog about autoresponders discussing a guy I met who had a huge mlm downline years ago, but lost it all because the company failed. Wouldn’t have been a problem if he had maintained a contact list, but he didn’t so he was completely out. Ouch!
Anyway, again great stuff, and a great characteristic in being able to admit when you’re wrong.
Thanks Jonathan, I needed to hear that. I’m one that gets carried away with the hype. And I have lost a lot of money that way. Now that I have recognized that in myself maybe the money flowing out can stop.

I FULLY agree with your teaching here. It’s SO TRUE. The waters in MLM “beneath the surface” is not as it seems AT ALL above the surface. Wheeling and dealing left and right with certain reps IS THE NORM…
And there is PRE-PLANNED hype, emotion driven launch strategy that is run in phases. You need to be aware of this at some point in your career. Or you’ll be caught in one after the other again and again…
Unfortunately, I think MANY people won’t “get this” today. Those few that DO will be here with us in the industry next year in a better position than today.
Take this message to heart EVEN IF (or especially if) Jonathan pissed you off with this message… that means you NEED to hear this faster…

Jonathan, Why not directly address associate integrity and ethics in their recruiting, promotion and communications’ tactics rather than any particular company in this type of message?
You have some great points about company buzz, hype and cycles etc., and it feels like the most important piece is to remind people about integrity and “truth in advertising.”
