That was a powerful video. I can totally relate to the example that you gave of a belief because I too once had that belief. The fact that I needed to work no matter what or else I would feel like I was wasting time sucks. That belief held me back from having so much fun within my life.
So learning how to replace beliefs like this so that we have beleifs that support us is a must for living a happy life. I know that replacing these types of beliefs has made a dramatic and positive shift in my life.

Jonathan, I have never really spoken to you about spiritual things, but if you will receive what I have to say, I BELIEVE FOR CERTAIN that you will gain much that will change your life in AMAZING and REAL and ETERNAL ways.
It is obvious that you are actively seeking out true meaning in life, true purpose, true understanding of what on earth you are here for. I am sure there are many of your online followers that are like you – in search of meaning, purpose, and Truth.
I was once on the same journey, and even seeking in the same direction that you have been going these last few years. But I must tell you that “there is a way that seems right unto man but in the end it brings only death.” (Proverbs 14:2, Kind Solomon, the richest man to ever live even by today’s standards)
From the bit and pieces of your life’s journey that I have gleaned in the last several months, you have found a way that seems right to you… I hope that your mind is truly open to knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, for I do have much to say that will radically change your life for the good should you choose to receive it. Like a parachute, a mind does work best when it is open. I hope you will read this with a very open mind, lest your life lands hard upon the rocks of eternal reality.
I was fortunate that there was someone that was willing to wound me with their words of Truth than to kiss me with their deceit, and in the process, I came to know where real life begins. “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful the kisses of an enemy.” (Proverbs 27:6, King Solomon)
Here are a few more realities of real Truth:
“The reverence of the Lord God is the beginning of knowledge,…” (Proverbs 1:7)
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil (your own ways). It will be health to your flesh, and strenth to your bones. (Proverbs 3:7-8, King Solomon)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17, the words of Jesus Christ)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3, the word of Jesus Christ)
“…but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst, but the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14, the words of Jesus Christ)
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christi Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)
“What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having seen set free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin (rebellion to God and the rejection of His son’s sacrifice for you) is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:21-23)
“…that if you confess with you mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame … For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)
“Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says…” (Revelation 3:20-22, the words of Jesus Christ)
As it concerns the battle for the mind – that which you were speaking about in your video and getting rid of stinking thinking – the Living Word of God says, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.”
The Word of God goes on to say that “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 9:14)
The battle for our mind is not from within ourselves, but from without. The thoughts that hold us down, that beat us up, the condemn our efforts, the make us believe lies about ourselves are from the very darkness of a hellish foe that would snuff out your very life in an instant if he could. The Bible refers to this foe as Lucifer (the giver of light or the enlightened one). He, as you know was among God’s most favored created beings – angels – who decided in his pride and self-awareness that he would exalt himself above God, his own Creator. It did not work. He was cast down from heaven, and his whole existence is now to steal life, to kill life, and to destroy life. “The devil comes to kill, to steal, and to destroy, but I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10, words of Jesus Christ)
Every thought we struggle with that beats us up and makes us feel less valued, less important, less able than what we know we are capable is NOT from our own internal being, but from the ‘Destroyer’ who wants our life to fail on every level. It is a battle for the mind that cannot be won permanently or eternally without the intervention of God through Jesus Christ, and us appropriating the authority we have over the Destroyer and his minions.
Yes, puny stinking thinking is not good for us in our journey towards personal and financial success, but do not be deceived into thinking that it is a battle that we can win permanently without the weapons of the Spirit. It is not possible. We can try to convince ourselves, try to focus on happy thoughts, drink it away, drug it away, or chant it away, but it will return…
It is like Terminator… it will not give up, it feels no pain, it knows no fear, it’s only mission is to destroy you, spirit soul and body, eternally and here on earth if possible. There is only one cure, one weapon, one source for that weapon, and His name is Jesus. “There is no other name by which man can be saved…” (Jesus)
I hope this brings Light and Truth to your search, and the search of those who you have brought to know, like and trust you. Their eternity could quite possibly be in your hands.

Jonathan, you have opened your heart and shared with us all. Cathy has shared with you the real truth from THE GOOD BOOK – the BIBLE, in John 14:6 where Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life…”. And SDW has shared his heart and passion for the words of the bible which are all truths, take them one at a time and do not be overwhelmed by them. I would like to add just one quote form Matthew 7: 7,8 which applies here: ASK, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU; SEEK, AND YOU WILL FIND; KNOCK, AND IT WILL BE OPENED TO YOU. FOR EVERYONE WHO ASKS RECEIVES, AND HE WHO SEEKS FINDS AND TO HIM WHO KNOCKS IT WILL BE OPENED.
Notice that this passage involves verbs, action words. we need to ask, we need to seek , we need to knock. I listening to your video, my belief is that you, like most of us are going through a life-shift. Thank you Jonathon for the wisdom that you share in your video message today. There is a Bible verse that says, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. So what you say is true and the key is to search our own heart and sort out the untruths that we harber there that creates fear and anxity and discard them.
I might also add that ultimate freedom and truth only comes in knowing Jesus for he said, “I am the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but by me”.

Thanks the strategy! My whole focus in life to escape suffering. I spent 3 years in a jungle of equatorial Indonesia, which changed me more than anything else has so far. I left bc my food supply ran out. Now, I have goats and bees, and have not been to a store in 5 years, and my goal is go down to the atolls of the pacific where the yearly low is 78.8 degrees, and the people sing daily. My point is that one’s external environment will change him or her, if one can get there and stay there long enough to be transformed by the energy. But getting there, and staying there involves, I believe, purification of body, mind, emotion,spirit and all parts of one’s being. So for now, I’m struggling in HI to purify myself enough to manifest my relocation to that morepeaceful environment. Btw, I plan to take high speed satellite internet, so I can stay in touch, and share my happines with a suffering world.
I appreciate the way you describe tracing the thoughts to emotions to false beliefs.
I first read about this in a book years ago and then a popular trainer in the MLM field spoke of it also regarding false beliefs we can have about money. How if I believe (many times these were handed down to us through childhood) that people with money are corrupt, proud, or snobbish etc. then not wanting to be something negative, I will sabotage efforts toward having that lifestyle.
So thanks for the reminder to question those beliefs that cause stress.

I know what you are talking about. I’ve completely changed my way of thinking. The whole story started about 8 years ago when I did Mind Control. Most people is full of with self-limiting beliefs. There are 3 enemies that stop us for acheiving our dream. These are doubt, fear and self-limiting beliefs. No one can help you to overcome these negative feelings as much as you can help yourself. We are the leader of our life, as you said. No I am studying a new tecnique which is EFT (emotional freedom techniques) a meridian-based method to facilitate and accelerate information processing and can be used for the treatment of a large spectrum of problems. Among the others emotional trauma, depression, bodily trauma, addictions etc.
I wish all of you a happy and successful life without self-limiting beliefs.
