Well said!! Another way to say what you are saying is found in The Bible when King David wrote this Psalm. Verse 14 sums it call up. Many times when someone is down on themselves my husband and I use Psalm 139, especially verse 14 to encourage, edify and let them know how God sees them. We’ve seen marvelous turnarounds in others as well as ourselves. We find The Word of God to be not only true but uplifting, encouraging and enriching for our spirits. The conflict with our souls – mind and emotions are pushed away and when those conflicts try to return, which they will because we are in spiritual warfare constantly, we meditate, chew on and digest God’s Word in The Holy Bible. Also, the words Jesus spoke have infinite power to heal and build us up.

This is all true. But I feel the human organism needs a guide or mentor to help us out of the muck. Like the African saying “It takes a whole village to raise a child” how many of us got the basic nurturing or guidance to simply become potentially whole? We are the only species that can’t complete the most basic task every other animal society does automatically-to simply raise their offspring to become a full fledged member of their tribe. So am I saying “it’s mother’s fault?” No-she had to grow up in much the same unfortunate history. I live this everyday.. And no, im not joking around
.. It´s all about just being true to yourself and people around you . Stop pretending and just become . You already know how to become what you want to become, but most likely you dont move towards it on a daily basis as you know you should to become it , right 
? You dont do it because the reality is more bearable then the challenge in changing your state . Simple solution = Be real to yourself and other people , become what you want to be and stop pretending that you are what you want to be, and DONT STOP UNTIL YOU HAVE CHANGED , so a year later when you finally take a quick look back at your “old life” you will not believe how much change that has taken place on the journey for that 1 year . Do this for 10 years towards who you truly want to become and you will be there.

What a beautiful rant about the beingness of who we are. Every word came from who you are, living from the the understanding of that which underlies all and itself always remains pure and resplendent. The more concepts we wrap around this subject, the more we move away from that which can liberate us.
This is a seeing which has nothing to do with our sense doors, it is an acceptance of that which allows all things to take place yet never decreases our ability to act and do and create results. It was my friend one of the best rants I have heard in the last 25 years on the subject of WHO WE ARE. Yes, doubt and clinging to thoughts and experiences is the eradicator of all potential, it cripples all beings whoever they are wherever they are. We need to see and understand and know that there is something unchanging and unshakable which underlies all thoughts and feelings and that we can CHOOSE to stand solidly there @ all times. This is the blessing of life, the unfathomable ever present source that has meaning, always has and always will because that is the nature of who we are.
I thank you Jonathan for who you are and the beautiful clarity from which that came.
Ok Jonathan….. so people need to believe they can do it and believe in themselves. It is not that easy. They have the core belief that they suck, they can`t do it, it won`t work. Until they see some kind of evidence to the contrary, it is next to impossible to change the core belief they have.
People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in books, lectures, seminars, training programs etc, but twenty years down the road they are still in the same place.
It DOES boil down to belief… but until you can see something change in your core being, that belief is going to remain.
There in lies the big question…. how do you change that core belief in your core being. Just positive affirmation is not going to cut it.
